The 2012 Women in Football coaching seminar hosted by Capital Football at the Australian Institute of Sport is a great opportunity for coaches at all levels to learn more about getting the best out of female athletes, football players and teams.

The 2012 seminar is titled “Coaching Women to Win” and will be presented by April Heinrichs (US National Team) and Jitka Klimkova (Canberra Utd). Coach Klimkova and Coach Heinrichs will share their experience and knowledge in creating winning cultures, attitudes and environments.

The presentations will draw from their most recent experiences in guiding Canberra United (Klimkova) and the US National Team (Heinrichs) to sucessful campaigns in 2012. The presentations will focus on the most current trends in Women’s football and guide attendees through a step by step approach in establishing a winning philosophy in a female-and athlete centred environment.

The seminar will be delivered in two parts.

Time- 5:30pm-6:30pm

Classroom Session
Location -STF Gold Room
Time 7:00pm-8:00pm
Practical session de-brief and W-League 2011/12 and London 2012 presentations

All attendees must register online. This seminar is expected to sell out well in advance.
