Ellie Carpenter

Ellie Carpenter is an 18-year old defender, who also excelled in the midfield for Heather Garriock in her first year for Canberra United. Carpenter previously played for the Western Sydney Wanderers before moving to Canberra, and is also a mainstay in the Matildas setup for Australia. She has 21 senior international appearances, and is also both the youngest player and youngest scorer in NWSL history thanks to a strong first season with the Portland Thorns.
